"Childhood Dream Leads To World First Film About
Civil Society On A Global Scale”
“With no formal training in film making, Liz Greenwell, through her film “No Chance to Paint the Canvas”, her story, philosophy and vision for the project, has made the link between the two extremes of her childhood: poverty amidst beauty and what she sees as a continuous thread in history’s two extremes: peace in the shadows of endless war and endless poverty surrounded by plenty.”
Based on a poem entitled “No Chance to Paint the Canvas” written by Liz in 1994. The poem was the nucleus for the music, the music was the nucleus for the film. The film was then the nucleus for the documentary series in progress, entitled “Adam’s Irish Mum (AIM)” to celebrate the life and work of Liz Greenwell in four major cities of the world. AIM : LA, AIM : Prague, AIM : Dublin and AIM : Singapore. Followed by a special launch to take place in Shanghai.
